Planning Your Financial Future with AI — a year of
spending, from your own statements. Two people at a kitchen table reading bank
statements beside a laptop showing charts; the OWL Planning owl in the corner

Most people are wrong by a fifth or more when they guess what a month costs them. The number is in your bank statements, and a small tool can read it out — on your own laptop, with nothing uploaded. Bring six months of exports (one will do) and leave with the figure every plan starts from.

You will leave with
Your recurring monthly figure and the annual number behind it — measured, not estimated, and marked as one or the other
The five kinds of money that move but are not spending — transfers, savings, lending, pass-throughs, income — and why counting them is the usual mistake
A budget file and a one-page dashboard you keep, and the interview that turns each unclassified line into a rule you wrote

The method is written up in A Year of Spending, from Your Own Statements: only one of six kinds of money movement is spending, and the tool measures that one. The tool itself runs in your browser at collegica.org/owl — nothing is uploaded — or on your own machine from github.com/Collegica/owl-planner.

Register through the form by Saturday 20 September; registration closes that day. Bring a laptop and, for every account you spend from, the last six months of exports from online banking; one month is enough to start.
